MD-5 or SHA?
Looks like there is a good amount of activity on MD5’s vulnerability (collisions). Would SHA replace MD5 soon in our daily life?

Yes, I think it could. At my work place they have given up on md5 altogether. We use either Blowfish 2^7 rounds or SHA1
