HR at NetEnrich sent me a mail congratulating on completion of two years of my presence here. I still have (just) 10 more years to make this my longest tenure in my career! These two years have passed by like a snap.
Earlier this month, we (NetEnrich) went through the surveillance audit of our ISO information security certification. It is a very good exercise that helped us to take a comprehensive look at the information keeping procedures followed throughout the last year. Our policies are checked, our checklists are validated, our processes are reviewed and our documentation is verified. All in all, it is a very time consuming exercise with a decent ROI on the fundamentals. Eagerly waiting for next year’s audit.

I commuted to work on a two wheeler for the entire last week. A nice experience.
We at NetEnrich India celebrated Independence Day bash on Friday, the 14th. We planned the day as a traditional/ethnic wear day. The participation is really good. We did a nice “NetEnrich Family” photo session towards the end of the day. The pictures in this album cover people who can join the session. (Note that we run 24×7x365 desks for mission critical devices and applications, so people come to work in different shifts. Some people had to stay back in office to man the desks. Also there are a few people who couldn’t attend the session due to urgent meetings.)

Just now back from Srimanth’s wedding. We stayed there at the wedding for a little more than an hour, but spent about 2.5 hours driving either way to the wedding. Typical clogged roads on a weekday evenings.
The wedding is at a very nice function hall. The venue is spacious, so is the dining hall. More than a dozen of our coworkers attended the wedding. It is a very well organized one.
